deployed defective Takata airbags

2015 was a record breaking year for auto recalls and automaker fines and it looks like 2016 isn’t off to a great start. This past Friday (1/22/16), Federal regulators decided to recall an additional 5 million vehicles with potentially defective Takata air bags.

In addition to the 100 U.S. drivers that have been injured by Takata air bags, this recall was prompted by additional testing and the recent death of a Ford Ranger driver in South Carolina.
