If you’re visiting Las Vegas this summer, stay safe.

With the summer approaching, a lot of tourists like to travel and test their luck in Las Vegas. Spring and fall are generally the most busy times of year, but summer still gets its share of tourists. Las Vegas residents know about our problems with pedestrian safety, but tourists are sometimes unaware of how dangerous Las Vegas streets can be. Auto-pedestrian accidents have tripled compared to this time last year, so if you are coming to visit, make sure you are safe on the roads.

The majority of the pedestrian accidents are due to people not following signals, are crossing at crosswalks, but there are also those incidents where drivers just aren’t paying attention. If you are in Las Vegas, the strip is the most popular destination. Some of the intersections just off the strip are the most deadly. If you are going to walk around the city, make sure that you are watching street signs, and only crossing on cross walks.

Police have been watching streets very closely, and have been handing out a lot of citations recently to try and help with the pedestrian accidents. If you are cited in Las Vegas, Ticket Busters is a great source to get help from a Las Vegas ticket attorney, they also can help with DUIs in Las Vegas.

Another law to be aware of is, no talking on cell phones while driving. Police have been handing out distracted driving citations in record numbers. If you do happen to get cited, again Ticket Busters is a great source for a Las Vegas traffic ticket lawyer.

If you do come to Las Vegas this summer, be safe and enjoy yourself. In the unfortunate event that you are injured make sure you get an experienced Las Vegas attorney. Anytime you’re in a city, strange things can happen especially when that city is Las Vegas.
