Post: “It was like a fluorescent green virtual reality moment! First of all I was a baseball fanatic when I was a kid back in the 60’s. I was watching games whenever I could. I used to study the baseball stats from the Sunday Providence Journal. I knew every players’ batting average, etc. However, I only saw baseball games on black & white TVs. Its 1969, I’m 10 Years old going to my 1st game at Fenway Park. I’m walking through the concourse to the field and all I remember is the GREEN! It was like a fluorescent green virtual reality moment! That moment is engrained in my memory for life!”
That is a great baseball memory from our firm administrator Tom. We here at the law offices of d’Oliveira & Associates want to engage with our clientele and with baseball season in full effect, we are running a giveaway for two free tickets to the ball game (see Contest Rules below for more details).

Contest Rules:
- Eligibility: This contest is open only to those who participate at the https://www.facebook.com/youmeanbusiness/ and who are 18 years of age or older as of the date of entry. The contest is only open to legal residents of Rhode Island and Massachusetts, and is void where prohibited by law. Employees of d’Oliveira & Associates, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and suppliers, (collectively the “Employees”), and immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of Employees are not eligible to participate in the contest. The contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.
- Agreement to Rules: By participating, the Contestant (“You”) agree to be fully unconditionally bound by these Rules, and You represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements. In addition, You agree to accept the decisions of d’Oliveira & Associates as final and binding as it relates to the content of this contest.
- Contest Period: Entries will be accepted online starting on June 13, 2017, 1:30 P.M. Eastern Standard Time and ending July 21st, 2017, 12:00 PM EST.
- Prizes: The Winner of the Contest will receive two field box tickets to Boston Red Sox vs. Chicago White Sox on August 6th, 2017 at 1:35pm. Actual/appraised value may differ at time of prize award. The specifics of the prize shall be solely determined by d’Oliveira & Associates. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for d’Oliveira & Associates to use Winner’s name, likeness, and entry for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.
- Winner Selection and Notification: Winner will be selected by community vote and a random drawing under the supervision of d’Oliveira & Associates. Winner will be notified through Facebook within one (1) day following selection of Winner. d’Oliveira & Associates shall have no liability for Winner’s failure to receive notices due to spam, junk e-mail or other security settings or for Winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If Winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the prize within 10 days from the time award notification was sent, or fails to timely return a completed and executed declaration and release as required, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate Winner selected.
