New England drivers have been ranked as the worst driversAllstate America’s Best Drivers Report® was recently released and it should come as no surprise to those of us that live in New England that Boston was ranked as having the worst drivers and Providence, RI came in as being the 6th worst city to drive in. Two other Massachusetts cities also ranked as having the worst drivers – Worcester came second and Springfield ranked fifth.

According to the Report Boston drivers file an accident claim once every four years vs. typical Allstate driver who, on average, files an accident claim once every 10 years. Also interesting to note is that 70 percent of car accidents occur at speeds less than 35 mph.
